Let’s Discover IT is a great resource for individuals or small groups who would like to meet together to explore the internet.
It might just simply be a few friends meeting for a coffee or it might be a group of residents living in retirement housing who meet in the communal lounge once a week. All you need to bring is a tablet, laptop or your smart phone and log onto the wifi. And of course, you will need to bring your curiosity. Being curious is what ‘surfing the net’ is all about!
Let’s Discover IT offers a variety of topics and themes to act as a springboard for group discussions, sharing memories and learning about new people and places. You can all go on the same internet site together or take it in turns – there’s no right or wrong way to explore Let’s Discover IT.
The great thing about Let’s Discover IT is that we want to incorporate your interests and hear what you’ve been curious about lately. You can email us directly, or go to the Contact page and send us a message about what topics and themes you’d like to explore.
Another great thing about Let’s Discover IT is that it’s a Covid-free zone! We’ve all gone through quite a challenging year since the beginning of the pandemic and I’m sure many of you have had a very rough time these past twelve months or so. That’s why Let’s Discover IT can be a chance to ‘get away’ from the stresses and strains we’ve been under and explore far away places and unearth hidden treasures from the past and present.

I also thought about Egypt. Cairo museum, virtual tour would be good! Tutankhamun, The Pyramids there is a lots of history on this.
