My name is Laura and I am the founder and creator of Let’s Discover IT.

I have been working for over 20 years with a national award winning housing association that provides Retirement and Extra Care Housing for older people.  During this time I have learned alot about the types of activities and events that people enjoy and are keen to attend.  Residents and staff say learning more about the internet would be great but they need a self-directed programme and one where individuals can get involved too – because everyone has something they can share.

Let’s Discover IT started as an idea to help small  groups discover new internet sites that highlight the amazing things happening in our world. With over 1 billion sites on the world wide web it can be quite daunting to simply ‘surf the net’ without a plan. Let’s Discover IT offers a plan with topics that range from current events and culture to hobbies and humour – all for you to explore and enjoy – bringing the best of the Internet to you!

Let’s Discover IT is a great resource for small groups and is ideal for:
